German Shepherd mix, Male, 40.2 lb and 6 months of age (born 12/26/23)

Victor is an active German Shepherd mix with really fantastic ears. These ears have learned some new skills since being in foster care. They have a mind of their own these days but they are trying hard to get on the same page and point in the same direction Some things he is currently learning are some commands (such as sit, down, off, crate, drop it, leave it, and free). We use “free” so he knows when he can go out the door or out of his crate.

Victor is hoping to find his forever home where he can ideally have a dog friend or friends to play with and a nice yard of his own. Victor enjoys playing with puzzles and soft toys. He is also learning that new people aren’t scary and that he is in a safe place now. He attends dog daycare every so often AND loves to run and play with pups. Another thing about this gorgeous boy is that he doesn’t like the dark so much and has been leery of men but since being in a foster home he has gotten much better and wants to broaden his horizons! We know these are two things that this loving guy will get over as he becomes more secure in his forever home.
