This magnificent creature is 65lbs of fabulous. Pictures do not do her justice. Vera made her debut in Rochester last weekend and is settling in nicely. She is a living doll, despite the hardships she has endured. At only 3 years old she found herself at a shelter, lost her only puppy, and tested positive for heartworm. Oof.
She is now healthy and ready for her happily ever after! We are looking for a quiet home or one where she can have her own space to retreat to as needed for continued decompression. She’s had a lot of big changes lately, she deserves a little extra R&R.
Vera is incredibly sweet, gentle, and easygoing. She would do fine as the only dog or with a mellow canine companion. She has not been cat tested. Her hobbies include taking naps, giving kisses, being outside, and breaking hearts. She hops when she’s feeling playful and rarely barks. She’s even crate and house trained.
