💙ROCKY is 7 years young! He’s a male Staffordshire mix, approx. 60 ish pounds, with a home ear crop job he received prior to joining K9O over four years ago.

Rocky has been 110% respectful, gentle and loving with all K9O volunteers and also the fantastic staff at The Animal Hospital of Pittsford.From volunteer Jen M. “He’s a very good boy. Rides excellent in the car. Walks fantastic on leash. Interested in people that pass by but not jumpy and didn’t pull…was just looking and kept it moving. Not a single animal phased him. Small dogs. Big dogs. Birds. Chipmunks. Squirrels. Could not care less. Enjoys cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. Ignored dog bones. Didn’t make a single noise aside from snorting in slight disdain over some dry dog biscuit.”
From volunteer Tammy L. “Very calm, non reactive to dogs and birds, walked very well on a leash (did not pull), loves to have his ears scratched, did very well in the car, we went for donuts and he took them politely (jumped a couple times but that was bc I was seeing how long he would sit before he got antsy), knows how to shake”.
Rocky is looking for a new forever home he can call his own. He has lived with cats and children and has visited regularly with canine friends. He would love an active owner or family where he can live his best life. He’s a gem 🥇👑
