Hey, everyone, Millie here! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m from Brooklyn, a city girl, but I was dumped at the pound. Can you believe that? Thankfully I was pulled out of there by the team at K9 Orphans and they found a really nice lady and her dog who were able to take great care of me and get me back to feeling like myself. So I made the trip to Rochester and landed in a great foster home where I live with an older dog sister, a cool young girl and her mom. It’s pretty nice here and I feel right at home. There are lots of toys and great food and it’s fun to have a dog sister to play with. She is a little older and doesn’t always want to play with me, which is fine. I can do my own thing too. We share all of our toys and treats and we really like having breakfast and dinner together and sometimes even eat out of the same bowl. She doesn’t like to cuddle as much as I do but the human kid and mom love it when I cuddle with them. I really love playing with the human kid. She is lots of fun and I have met a few of her friends too. So I think kids are pretty cool, but I have not met any babies yet. My foster mom likes to go on hikes in the woods and she takes us all with her and that is one of my favorite things – so much stuff to smell. She says I walk pretty nicely on a leash and have pretty good manners when we run into strangers. She also takes me to day care while she goes to work and they have been super nice to me there. I am meeting lots of friends of all shapes and sizes that I am learning how to play with.
