Hey, ya’ll! Jada here! I came all the way from Louisiana to Rochester to find my new forever family. I’m not quite one year old yet so I’m still just a pup, but I’m already almost full-grown at 45lbs. Nobody knows what my parents looked like, but I’m definitely some sort of bully breed. I’m a friendly girl, and really love my human friends! I don’t mind other dogs if the mood is right, but I’m really more of a people person.
About that … I don’t seem to get along well with other girl dogs, and smaller friends and cats look an awful lot like toys to me. My best home would have no other pets, or a larger male dog who won’t give me a hard time. I don’t put up with any shenanigans. I like people of all sizes, but I’m still working on my manners so might knock over little ones on accident. Older kids would be best.
I kind of like to do things my way, but I’m told that I’m pretty smart and I really like treats, so I’m sure we can work something out. My new family will need to take me to a training class to help me live my best life. If you keep me busy and wear me out, it will make it easier for me to pay attention and learn, so you’ll want to have a fenced yard for me to run in, and be ready to take me on lots of walks and adventures.
What I really need right now is a place to crash because I’m stuck in boarding and I really don’t like it! I have a lot of friends coming to visit and taking me out on field trips, but I need a quiet foster home or someone to adopt me so my true colors can really show. I’m sweet and playful, and I love to cuddle! If you can you make room on your couch for me, even just for a little while, contact my friends at k9orphans.org and fill out an application to foster or adopt!
