14 months old, 55lb, mixed breed
When this guy showed up, his name was Terry, and Terry was very, very scared. He found a safe space in the living room crate at his foster home, and has been coming out of his shell with the help of his fluffy foster sisters and his guardian angel, Amy.
We are happy to tell you that Scary Terry has taken a backseat to make room for Gideon, and Gideon is very, very sweet. He is great with dogs and cats, a professional snuggler, and would probably be good with older children if they are calm and gentle.
Gideon is crate trained and very nearly housebroken, making great progress but will do best in a home with other dogs to help him continue building confidence. Once he is comfortable, he enjoys spending time in a fenced yard but is not a good candidate for invisible fence or tie-outs.
He’s got a new name and a new lease on life, and he’s ready to find his happily ever after. To meet Gideon, please submit the adoption application at k9orphans.org/adopt
