Hi, my name is Duck, which is funny because I think I’m supposed to be a dog. Species aside, I’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle. My family didn’t have time for me anymore, so I guess I need to find a new one now. I’m almost 2 years old, some kind of bully mix (your guess is as good as mine), and around 50lbs. I really like to play with other dogs, and I LOVE snuggling. Snuggling is my favorite.
My foster mom says I’m a perfect gentleman, well-behaved on walks, very mellow and laid-back. I am still working on basic commands though, so if you could take me to a training class it would really help me out. I would do best in a home with another dog to play with, and an active family who can spend time with me. I have a great time at doggy daycare though, so if you work a lot I don’t mind hanging out with my friends until you’re done. Just don’t leave me alone all day, that would be so boring that I might chew up your stuff.
I like all people, but I’m not small and I like to play so any kids in the house would have to be robust enough to not be easily knocked over, or at least not be phased by an accidental take-down. I haven’t really been around cats, so if you have any of those I would have to meet them before moving in.
