ABBY
Female, MALSHI, 22 months old
Date of birth: 9/12/2022
Abby is spunky, playful, cuddly and adorable! She hardly barks, she’s hypo allergenic and loves to play with all the toys she can get her paws on! She gets along great with other dogs and thoroughly enjoys her time playing with them. Does well on a leash but likes to rest or stop to roll around a bit while on her walks!
Abby is looking for a fun and energetic home to show her all there is to know about life. She’s a VERY HAPPY GIRL all around. She has AKC papers (not that those mean anything to us), but she has them. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and up to date on monthly heartworm, flea and tick preventatives.
From her Foster Mom:
Abby is an avid walker for such a tiny thing. She has mastered potty training in just two days! Her only request is that you take her out before 7am to allow her to relieve herself of her number two.
She loves her persons and is completely loyal to you. With her history she does suffer from a bit of separation anxiety but has come through that really well in the last week. She is much better but may regress once adopted. I would be willing to provide the training I used that worked for her. We do not want her to be left alone for long periods of time…
She is treat and affection motivated! She adheres to routines and sleeps soundly through the night provided she can snuggle with you. She is also not a fussy eater.
She knows “bed down” for night time sleeping. She knows “sit” and is working on her “stay”.
She is a dog who would benefit from not being alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time (as her breed is known for). She would love a fenced in yard.
She naps frequently throughout the day and enjoys a fun game of tug with her foster brother’s stuffed lamb and other tug toys. She is respectful towards all furniture.
Throughout your day, you will find Abby sleeping or resting on the floor near you. She just wants to make sure you’re okay. She is quiet and sweet. She sometimes goes to daycare where she is very social and enjoys other dogs. She deserves all the love a family has to offer. She would be great with kids and adults.
Please be sure to be willing to give her brisk walks at least 2x a day. She would benefit from a quick out for about 10 min at night around 8pm.
She is a dream dog who thrives on love, consistency, and patience. She strives to impress and has made milestones in such a short period as our foster.

Abby’s adoption fee is $700 and comes with one month of heartworm, flea and tick prevention.
