REMY is a 4 year old female Terrier mix. Remy is one of the happiest dogs we have ever had in rescue. She started with us as a puppy and then returned recently. She is SMART, loves ALL toys, loves to sleep in the bed, she does like children but we are seeking a home with older kids. Remy is a “mouther”. She likes to hold your hand in her mouth. It’s painless but wet and occasionally a sharp tooth will remind you that this beautiful puppy is leisurely carrying your hand in her “purse”. The trainer that she has met with a couple times has said she’s a fantastic dog and we think she would thrive in a family that makes her work for her treats. She does not like to be crated and is VERY energetic. She would be a great running partner on leash or she would love to attend daycare where she has made so many friends! She loves to play with larger dogs but would be fine in a home as the only dog OR with a larger dog. She’s definitely looking for as much exercise as she can get per day. Remy is seeking a home with an active owner or family, a solid fenced yard (this is what she’s used too), a home with older children or no children…she has not been cat tested but I assume she would see cats as a new play friend so that might not work out
