Buddy came to us after being found homeless and eating garbage … He is 4-5 years old, 40lbs, and a very nice boy. He is good with kids and other dogs (but is not a fan of cats) and is a professional snuggler. He will need a securely fenced yard and/or constant supervision when outside on leash (with a martingale collar and properly fitted harness!). His life on the streets has taught him that the world is his oyster, so he will take off to explore if given the opportunity. Overall, he is a very good boy and deserves a very good home.
A note from Buddy’s foster family:
“Buddy is here! A gentle Texan, he is sweet as the day is long, and will wag his little tail as fast as he can. He is getting used to Mollie (resident dog), loves kids, and has shown he is housebroken and crate trained. Not much of a barky guy, he knows some basic commands like sit, stay, and shake, and he is eager to get up on the couch and watch TV with his foster mom. He walks well on the leash, is a squirrel aficionado, and is excited to be here and find his forever home.”
