Introducing the lovely lady Luna, the dog from Whoville … breed unknown. She is about 13 months old, 52 pounds, social and VERY loving. ***A fully and securely fenced yard is REQUIRED for this girl. No invisible fencing. She is a flight risk and has escaped her yard in the past, resulting in her being hit by a car and severely injured. No exceptions.***
Luna is a very playful bouncy girl. She loves dogs of all shapes and sizes and plays to their size. She LOVES to invade your personal space with snuggles and kisses. After she plays for a while she tends to limp due to a previous accident and now has a steel rod in her hip. She also has to take some time to go up and down stairs but she can do it!
She was free fed before so she is getting used to being fed on a schedule and is doing pretty well you just have to sit with her to keep her attention grounded until she learns. She has had a few accidents in the house so she is not fully potty trained but we are working on it. She is not destructive and will not destroy toys or beds… she sleeps in her crate with all of her toys. (She does awesome in her crate too she sleeps through the whole night).
She is seriously a love bug and everyone she meets is obsessed with her. She is so sweet and is still a little shy when we go to leash her she backs away so she definitely has a longer adjustment period. As a foster dog she is so loved!
