Scooby is a 5 month old hound mix looking for a forever family to call his own. He is about 30lbs and still growing, we estimate around 50-60lbs full grown. This boy is super playful and sweet. He loves humans of all ages and will do anything to make his people happy. His favorite things are playing fetch and entertaining himself with toys, snuggling his people and cozying up in front of the space heater. Most of all, Scooby just wants to be loved.
Scooby gets along great with other dogs but has not been around cats. He is very curious and would probably be interested in them, but he would have to meet any resident cats before being adopted to make sure they get along. Another dog to show him the ropes and a fenced yard to play in would be ideal.
Scooby is a good listener and is working on his basic commands. He will need a family committed to continuing his puppy training, but he is off to a great start. He already sits nicely to wait for cookies and dinner, he’s great in a crate, is super mellow on car rides, and is a good boy at the vet. He is still working on potty training and needs some guidance on how to walk on a leash.
