Meet Miss Minnie! This little love traveled all the way from a shelter in the south with her friend Drama (also available for adoption) to find her forever in upstate NY. She loves playing in the snow, so she fits right in! She is about 11 months old, already spayed and up to date on shots.
Minnie is very sweet, a top tier snuggler! Some of her favorite things to do are to lay across your feet to sleep, follow her favorite person around and sleep next to someone. Minnie loves to play with toys and chew on bones.
She loves all people and other dogs, but she is still learning how to play gently so only dog-savvy or older children for this girl. She has not been around cats that we know of, but her foster mom thinks she would be fine. As with all of our dogs, she would have to meet any resident pets before being adopted.
She is food motivated and would do great in a training class. Minnie is ready to learn and will need a family who is willing to continue her training. She is housebroken and crate trained but prefers to be left out when left alone. She will take off on her own adventures when given the opportunity, so a fenced in yard would be best.
